Durban City Tour (half day)

The ideal way of getting to know ‘Surf City’! Drive along the Golden Mile Beachfront, visit Durban’s harbor and experience the vibrant Victoria Market. We finish the tour off at the beautiful Botanical Gardens.

Hluhluwe / Imfolozi Game Drive ‘Big Five’ (full day)

The oldest proclaimed game reserve in Africa is home to the Big Five and we spend the day game viewing, with lunch at Hilltop Camp (cash bar). After lunch we continue game viewing, returning early evening.

Sani Pass (full day)

Sani Pass is the third highest jeep track in the world after Tibet and Chile. We climb the pass in 4×4 jeeps, arriving in the Kingdom of Lesotho where we visit a local village, enjoy breath taking views and have lunch at ‘The Highest Pub in Africa”.

Bushman Paintings – Giants Castle (full day)

Discover ancient rock art paintings in one of the largest painted sites in southern Africa. Walk to the Main Caves of Giants Castle where an interpretation of the art is delivered to you by your guide. Enjoy lunch in the Drakensberg Mountains World Heritage Site.

Shakaland Tour (¾ Day Morning or Evening)

A visit to Kwa Zulu Natal is not complete without a visit to Shakaland. We travel along the eastern seaboard to experience Zulu culture at its best. Meet a Sangoma; partake in a beer drinking ceremony; be captivated by a dance show and indulge in a hearty Zulu feast.

Cheetah Experience & St Lucia Boat Cruise (full day)

A personal tour of South Africa’s endangered cheetah and wild cat species in an environmentally friendly and aesthetic Wildlife Sanctuary. Lunch is enjoyed in the quaint, vibey town of St Lucia followed by a boat cruise. Get ready for magnificent sightings of hippos and crocs! This is a super experience for the whole family. Wheel chair friendly.

Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift: Anglo Zulu War (1879) (full day – also available by helicopter)

We visit both battlefields. On the 11 January 1879, five British columns crossed out of the British Colony of Natal into the Kingdom of the Zulu nation under King Cetshwayo, direct descendant of the mighty King Shaka Zulu. What followed was a series of bloody, tumultuous battles that initially threw the British forces into disarray before ultimately resulting in the crushing of the proud Zulu nation, thus ending a period of regional military might spanning sixty years.

Valley of a Thousand Hills (half day – morning/afternoon)

We travel via Hillcrest to the magnificent Valley of a Thousand Hills for an introduction to Zulu culture and Zulu Dancing. Visit a safari park and learn about the Nile crocodile, returning to Durban via the scenic route.

The Midlands Meander (full day)

The Midlands Meander is an arts and crafts route that stretches 80km’s between Pietermaritzburg and Mooi River. It is home to some of Kwa Zulu Natal’s most talented and creative individuals! Surrounded by beautiful scenery we explore the Meander, enjoying its arts, crafts, cafes and history. Lunch is enjoyed on the Meander.

Drakensberg Boys Choir and Champagne Valley (Wednesdays only)

We depart for the Drakensberg mountains early morning. We enjoy a delicious lunch at Thokozisa and experience some of the interesting arts and crafts in the Centre. After lunch we attend the concert by the internationally acclaimed Drakensberg boys Choir – all aged between nine and fifteen and from various cultural back grounds. This show is only available on a Wednesday.

White Water River Rafting (allocated times)

Experience white water rafting. An adrenalin rush for those who are adventurous! This will be followed by a delicious lunch.

Shark Cage Diving (half day)

Board a boat and head out to sea as the sun rises on the horizon. Learn about sharks, marine life and conservation. The experience includes a shark cage dive as well as an opportunity to view the sharks from the boat. Enjoy a late breakfast after your dive. No diving experience required.
